6 Bold Features of the 2025 Volvo XC60

Explore Features of all-new 2025 Volvo XC60

The 2025 Volvo XC60 is a luxury compact SUV with a graceful Scandinavian style and thoughtful cabin comforts, which make it extremely pleasant to drive. The base B5 trim is an efficient and powerful AWD mild hybrid. Here are some highlights of this exceptional SUV.

6 Bold Features of the 2025 Volvo XC60

Intelligent Driver Information System

The XC60 is a state-of-the-art vehicle with many highly innovative features. One example is the Intelligent Driver Information System, which detects when you engage in a moment of intense driving where focus is paramount, such as hard braking or sharp cornering. The system then blocks non-essential information and alerts, such as navigation notifications or incoming messages, so as not to distract you.

Oncoming Lane Mitigation

One of the many advanced safety features that come as standard in the XC60 is oncoming lane mitigation, which automatically helps to steer you back safely into your lane if you accidentally drift into the path of oncoming vehicles in the neighboring lane. Further driver-assist tech includes blind spot assistance, cross-traffic alert, road sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, pilot assist, whiplash injury protection, and more.

Smooth and Agile Handling

The XC60 is wonderfully well-balanced and has sporty yet relaxed driving dynamics. Standard all-wheel drive with Instant Traction makes it extraordinarily surefooted in year-round weather conditions. A unique integral-link rear suspension combined with a transverse lightweight leaf spring makes for silky cornering and perfect balance through all maneuvers.

Responsive Mild-Hybrid Powertrain

The XC60 glides along with 247 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, which grants quick, seamless acceleration through an 8-speed Geartronic automatic transmission that makes sure you're always in the right gear. There's also a standard stop/start feature that reduces idling and saves fuel when navigating traffic.

High-Performance Audio System

The luxurious quiet inside the XC60's cabin makes the perfect setting for the crisp, resonant sound of its high-performance sound system. Ten speakers with separated tweeters and woofers are carefully positioned for an ideal surround sound experience. The upper trim has an even more impressive 14-speaker Harman Kardon Premium Sound System.

Quilted Nordico Upholstery

Everything about the XC60's cabin is designed for extreme comfort. The seats are upholstered in quilted Nordico, a soft, luxuriously smooth material made out of bio-attributed materials from Swedish and Finnish forests.

Both front seats are powered and heated with 2-way lumbar support, and the driver's seat has memory settings. Many surfaces are of natural driftwood decor, and the tailored dashboard is exceptionally elegant. The higher-end XC60 trims have even more interior luxury.
