All-Around Toughness: The 2025 Chevy Silverado
Engine Choices Built for Hard Work
The Silverado offers four capable engines. The standard 2.7L TurboMax I4, which pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission, delivers 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. An available 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 produces 355 hp, while a powerful 6.2L EcoTec3 V8, which is standard on High Country and ZR2, gets up to 420 hp. Most trims except WT and Custom are available with a 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel I6, which allows up to 13,300 lbs of towing thanks to its 495 lb-ft of torque.
Four-wheel drive is available on all-trims and standard on off-road models like Trail Boss and ZR2. Trail Boss models include a 2-inch factory lift, 2-speed transfer case, and skid plates, while ZR2 variants have Multimatic DSSV dampers and front/rear e-lockers.
Exterior Built for Demands
The Silverado’s design focuses on function and durability. The Durabed cargo bed is available in three lengths: 5-feet 10-inches (crew cab models only), 6-feet 7-inches (available with all models), and 8-feet 2 inches (regular cab models). All models include 12 standard tie-downs rated at 500 lbs each, as well as optional bed lighting and a 120V outlet.
The Multi-Flex Tailgate is available on all trims and standard on higher trims like ZR2 and High Country. It creates six different configurations, including two load stops, a work surface, and a step.
Interior Built for Comfort and Versatility
Interior features differ across trims, from functional work-ready setups to comfort-enhancing cabins. WT and Custom models offer durable vinyl or cloth seats and manual seat adjustments. LT and RST trims upgrade feature upgraded cloth or optional leather materials, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and dual-zone automatic climate control. LTZ and High Country trims feature leather seating surfaces, real wood and metal trim, and heated and ventilated front seats.
In crew cab models, rear passengers can enjoy 43.3 inches of legroom and generous headroom. The seats can flip up for expanded storage space.
Technology Built for Convenience
While the base WT trim features a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, all other models offer a 13.4-inch display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The larger display includes Google built-in technology and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.
Optional features include a navigation system, Wi-Fi hotspot, and rearview camera. Up to 14 camera views are available, including a hitch view and transparent trailer view. An available Bose 7-speaker premium sound system, which is standard in High Country models, upgrades the standard 6-speaker unit.
